AccessShot Open Source Licenses
Last updated: July 27, 2026
AccessShot is proprietary software, but it is built on free multimedia libraries. The GStreamer stack, GLib, and FFmpeg are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL-2.1-or-later). AccessShot loads them as separate, unmodified dynamic libraries — you can identify and replace them with your own builds, as the LGPL requires. The AccessShot EULA explicitly does not restrict any of your LGPL rights.
